As long as our children were little, we went on vacation in October during the school vacations. Until the youngest turned six, we went to a family hotel in a mountainous region in Salzburg, Austria. Later we made these weeks our beach vacation and went with them to Greece, Trukey or Egypt.

Now they are all grown up and working during that time. But my husband and I still enjoy taking a few days off in October. This week is that time again. And just like we started doing with our kids, we love spending a few days in the fall at a spa hotel in the mountains, lazing around a bit and enjoying treatments, taking longer walks or riding a cable car to beautiful places with breathtaking views. Last year we were here.
