#PoeticTuesday

Fly Away

Escaping reality
For just a few days
Recharging my batteries
Clearing my mind’s maze

Watching life from a distance
Yet feeling it more intense
Being right in the moment
With those in my heart’s space

Enjoying myself
Inspiration to flow
Getting back to what matters
I release and let go

*I wrote this poem on the plane when we flew to Greece this summer.

In Love and Light

The purpose of my blog is to inspire and shine a light on the beauty and power of the wonderful being inside your body. You came into this world to share what only you can give. Remember who you really are, conquer the world the way you always wanted to, and become the blessing to us all that you were meant to be.

I’m still not sure I want to flu but we’ve just booked flights to Northern Ireland for a wedding next year so that bullet is being bitten. Now to find somewhere that still has some petrol for the car…

Lovely words dear lady, and good for the soul. It’s lovely to have a break and fly away occasionally, release those stressful bits that go hand in hand with living. One step without the need to ‘what if’, ‘when’ and ‘why’ to every thought in our mind, releasing endorphins instead of adrenaline…unless you holiday by mountain climbing or kayaking or bike riding or…what am I saying? So then, it must be something other that goes with adrenaline to drain our days, must be lack of ice cream or chocolate maybe? 😀 ❤️ 🙏🏽 🦋 😂 🤣
