#HitsByYears – 1981

For the last day of the 1981 week I am sharing two songs. The first one is a song that goes well along with the inspiration I try to share on my blog. Don’t let anyone or anything stop you from pursuing your dreams, certainly not yourself. There may be interruptions and constructions along the way. But as long as your dream burns in you, it wants to be lived. Maybe you need to adjust the sails or check your GPS as long as you hold them tight.
Happy Mother’s Day to everyone who celebrates it!

Hold On Thight To Your Dreams – Electric Light Orchestra

But how could I conclude the week of 1981 without sharing one of the greatest songs ever. No more words requiered…

In the Air Tonight – Phil Collins

Feel free to add or mention in the comments your favorite song of 1981 and the memory that connects you with it.

I couldn’t agree more, David! I am happy you enjoyed the week and liked my choices. I am trying not to go with the obvious songs but rather with those we knew but may have forgotten. Have a great Sunday and huge hugs back at you!

Yayyy, a double header. And That song of Phil Collins was one of the most powerful songs he has done. Loved them both, thank you Erika (not sure about the neighbors though after I …ahem…appreciated them a little higher than decorum may allow) 😂 🤣
