As you can see from the title, I have decided to expand the range of topics for poems on Tuesdays.For the most part, the poems remain romantic, but I am often inspired by other things that I would like to share. Since I can’t find the time to post more often, I choose this option. Ultimately though, it’s always about love anyway, just not always the romantic kind.

Fresh and New

Don’t need to live in happiness
But just without the need
To cling to things I’m longing for
Which grow inside like weed

In looking back and hoping for
Something out of my hand
I cannot free myself from chains
That I myself have made

If I want my dreams to unfold
I have to break that chain
Let fly in sweet serenity
What got stuck in my brain

I turn around and feel the boost
Now raised above the scene
I’m looking down with only love
Awaiting what’s therein

Will neither let go of my dreams
nor of this love I feel within
But I will curiously go
With the proverbial wind

I leave the past and pain behind
Start confidently new
I know that everything is well
What’s meant that will come true
