Erika, well said. Sometimes we just need to dream for dream’s sake. But, we will never know what is attainable unless we set a goal and act. I was reminded of the singer Jewel, who with her mother, sold everything except for their car, which they slept in to pursue her dream of being a singer. She took the extreme path with no Plan B. She made it, but it was not easy. Keith

Wow, that is an extreme. It is so amazing to see how much the realization of a dream can mean to someone that they don’t feel like they anything but the necessities with the only focus on the goal. Awesome!

Erika, the picture you included of the girl on the railroad track with a guitar reminded me of Jewel’s story. It is amazing she took such a chance. This almost like a “burn the ships to get back home” strategy that made settlers committed to make it work. Keith

Burn… yes, she burned for her dream and that is what makes the difference! If you are not willing to risk anything, you won’t leave the comfort zone. If you don’t leave the comfort zone there cannot be any new developments. I love Jewel’s story. Thank you, Keith!

I heard her in an interview once and was so surprised in how down to earth she was. She got the interviewer and another actress to come sit on the floor (instead of the usual ‘setup’ so it all looks nice) and proceeded to have a chat instead of scripted Q&A’s they mostly do 😀
Well, the next time she comes over here I shall invite her out into God’s country and show her ‘straya’. Would you like to join us on the lake on a picnic boat and watch the dolphins or better still I’ll take you both up north onto the coral reefs and excursions in a glass bottom kayak to view its beauty? 😀 ❤️ 🙏🏽 🦋

Yes, she appears very down to earth. Lately, I saw a short speech when she received an award in Germany. She speaks accentfree German since her father was stationed in Germany for the first years of her life. She is an amazing woman. What is your favorite movie of hers?
OMG, of course, Mark! Don’t ask me if just let me know when to book the flight… only depending on the pandamic issue but not on me… haha.

I suppose I like them all 🤣, but I met her in Speed, can’t go past Practical Magic and was stunned how she kept that accent in The Blind Side. Actually, I like that one the most…it moved me 😀 ❤️ 🙏🏽 🦋 😂 🤣

Yes, Speed was the first one I saw with her too. But my absolute favorite movie of hers is The Lakehouse. I like Keanu Reeves too and both are playing in quite a lot of movies (also Speed) together. But in The Lakehouse they were just so amazing together.
