And forward we go with the tour around my garden. This time we stop at my rose garden. I love roses, but seriously, who doesn’t. I have had roses all over the place but wanted to create a spot only dedicated to that queen of flowers too. I created this part of the garden this Spring. I am cutting the roses frequently. That way, they are blooming during the whole season over and over again. A joy to see!
The photos you will see in the slideshow below are taken on different days between May and August to show them in their most beautiful dresses.
The following rose is of a dark orange/red color and becomes more yellow before it is withering.
The next one is called Pink Panther.
The one below is of a cream white color but becomes very light pink in the center.
A deep red rose with petals like velvet.
The next one has such a soft and tender pink.
The next one has a very interesting way of changing the colors of its petals. It begins in a lovely yellow and turns light pink on the outside of the petals the more it opens up.
Below is one of those rose bushes I am having for over 15 years. It is growing to the sides and is covering the ground. Also, I have planted lavender between the rose bushes to prevent them from lice.
And just in time, this one has decided to blossom again. It is a classic rose in cream white rose with some light pink rims.
In Love and Light
Gorgeous! I love the smell of roses. We used to have several bushes at our old house. I don’t have any here and now I think I may need to find a space for a few!

Ah, they are. There is some magic about roses, isn’t it? Yellow is a special color. I think there is no color I don’t like for roses.

These roses are stunning. Roses are about the only thing I can’t kill off in our garden currently. Do love a White Rose. So love your orange/red and yellow/pink ones. So beautiful.

Ah, I am happy you liked them, Gary. I know you love roses a lot. My favorite roses are white roses too. But I am amazed by those intensive colors of those you mentioned. Roses are simply amazing and yes, they are more resistant than it may appear.

Ah roses dear lady, they area a beautiful joy in their many dresses as you say. And I was impressed with that yellow rose with the slight pink at its edges until it grows that outer layer and is all pink, it suits it to a ‘T’. Amazing what they can do these days. A bit disappointed though, I went looking for a striped zebra rose, but you don’t seem to have those yet…or your hiding them for later 😂 🤣

It is amazing how they can have different colors in one petal and even transform the color. It is stunning! Oh, striped zebra rose… will check and if I find one and even get it, I will post it just for you… lol!!

Thank you indeed dear lady, these generations of roses are very beautiful and they really stand out. Mind you, if you do find a zebra one I would hang on to it dearly, it would be worth a fortune, monetarily and in heart and mind 😂 🤣
Good luck in your work and break from here, may their be much love and light shine over it all…and a treasured zebra hidden among it ❤️ 🙏🏽 🦋

They are so beautiful, aren’t they? I don’t know, if I have a green thumb, but I simply love every plant and most of them are working out, not all unfortunately. Perhaps they feel how thankful I am to have them. 💖

So beautiful!
My maternal grandmother, my Naani, loved roses, so my Nana, mu maternal grandfather, created a rose garden for her, within their huge plot of land on the farm in Kenya. It had high hedges, to separate it from the rest of the garden, and there were so many different varieties.
There were rose bushes dotted around in other parts of the garden too, but that rose garden was her special place. When he died she would spend a lot of time there, to feel close to him.

I can only imagine how beautiful this must have been and looked like. And, oh, the smell from so many roses. Do you have photos of that area? I understand your Naani’s love for roses so well. I have more bushes in other parts of the garden too, as you may have seen in the previous posts but another designated rose garden was a little dream of mine. So a similar development or idea like your grandparents had. Must be in the family 🥰
