Erika, looking at the top songs, it looks like the Bee Gees dominated the top ten with songs from “Saturday Night Fever.” A memory from that movie is unrelated to the dancing. I remember John Travolta’s brother the priest was thinking about giving up the collar and I remember how Travolta told his dance partner everything about the Brooklyn Bridge which showed he was smarter than he came across.

These may have smaller items, but it painted a picture of the kid who was not as good as his brother in his parents’ eyes, but could really dance. Keith

Yes, the Bee Gees were big during those years in general. A good hint to mention Saturday Night Fever. That is trule a movie which colored the late 70s and Travolta was on his young top years too!
I have to admit that I have never seen the whole movie. Your comment was a good inspiration! Will put it on my “to-watch” list now!

Cool, Mark! It is a joy for me to pick so many of those magic moments songs. But then again, those songs are such classics which do always go with specific memories when heard, right?
