#HitsByYears – 1977

Some artists have been great since the first time they showed up. One of those artists is the one I want to conclude the 1977 week. Warning: The song will keep playing in your head for the rest of the day… Happy Friday!

Sir Duke – Stevie Wonder

Feel free to add or mention in the comments your favorite song of 1977 and the memory that connects you with it.

He is another voice who just seemed to go on and on Erika. I wonder how many hits he had. Brings up ‘I just called to say I loved you’ that was in the movie ‘Woman in Red’. Loved it! 😀 ❤️ 🙏🏽 🦋

Should be a rule that every summer music compilation has to have this song included. Just perfect. One of my all time favourites just about sneaks into 1977 as it was released in the US just at the start of the year. Released 1976 in the UK, but in the charts in 77. David Soul – Dont give up on me baby. I’ve basically been singing the song ever since I heard it.
