I like that you noticed the discussion, Rob… haha. But yes, it is so easy to blame God for not preventing us from the bad things in the world while forgetting that it was men who created them…!

God doesn’t create class systems and God isn’t incarcerating children who only want safety and chance to succeed in life. Allowing this is a choice and we can choose to or bereft that he or she has no innate sense of right and wrong. There are many aspects of life we can’t control, but we can decide to speak out when we see evil.

And that is the where free will needs to kick in. Using it to make this world a better place. Bad things happen, sad things happen, tragedies happen, catastrophes happen. But that doesn’t mean we are victims to a higher force. We are called to break our shells to remember that we are the force!

I agree Erika., And because the ability to experience free will is linked to our ability to use reason, those of us who who are privileged to have the skill to use reason are obliged to share them.
