The purpose of my blog is to inspire and shine a light on the beauty and power of the wonderful being inside your body. You came into this world to share what only you can give. Remember who you really are, conquer the world the way you always wanted to, and become the blessing to us all that you were meant to be.
Erika, this quote reminds me the best leaders know the better solutions come from those closest to the problem. They need to allow those ideas to flow up to get some oxygen. Leaders that think they know it all, miss this key point.
I recall a US presidential candidate say “I, alone, can solve this.” This now president has run off most of his better people as they tried to figure out how to manage this egomaniacal person. Keith
Not only a very timely example but for sure one that totally confirms that “only his way” is not the best and even less the only possible way! Thank you, Keith!
Erika, the president’s untruthfulness, bullying, and policy decisions have not surprised me. What has surprised is the level of chaos and incompetence in the White House. His mercurial style and lack of diligence with study or facts has so many folks doing fire drills and at odds with each other. Who speaks for America is an oft-asked question by other leaders? Keith
I think “chaos” is the best way to describe it as it is seen from over here. The oneness which once the White House radiated has turned into a madness of running after a grown up child trying to save itself and the rest of the world from it and cleaning up behind it while being afraid it could cost the job.
Erika, the chaos may be the key driver that causes the departures. Just look at all the time spent trying to make Trump look less foolish – the sharpie hurricane path, the USS John McCain being moved from his view, PR people trying to assuage concerns of a Trump statement, only to have him double down the following day after they did so or more seriously, announcing the travel ban without vetting, getting input or telling anyone before hand (it was pulled in two days) or the PR people talking behind the shrubs when they learned Trump fired James Comey without telling him or anyone else. Keith

Let’s lift our view and look around what else there is. Sometimes we will be surprised that the best option had been waiting right behind us.
