Today’s song is again one of those which feels more like an 80s’ song to me since I got introduced to it in the mid 80s. Back then I did not pay attention to the lyrics (remember my mother tongue is German) neither did I bother what the song is about. So, doing this series really shines a new light on many songs I thought I already knew and makes them even more meaningful to me.

We are near the Czech border, so i think there will be an answer. Not only to the Bavarian, more to the German government. Glorifying the WWII could be very expensive for Germany. Look at the 1 Billion Euro Poland want to get.

Amazing, this is one of those aha moments Erika. After listening to your ‘hit’ yesterday and at the end when an array of songs come up, I saw Pink Floyd’s ‘Us and Them’ from Dark Side Of The Moon so for a little reminiscing of those old days I played every one of their songs of that album…except one, I had to run an errand and missed out on playing it. And you wouldn’t believe it, the song I missed was ‘Money’ 😀
It appears I was meant to complete that ‘listening’ today, thank you for completing that ‘tour’ of yesterday 😀
