The purpose of my blog is to inspire and shine a light on the beauty and power of the wonderful being inside your body. You came into this world to share what only you can give. Remember who you really are, conquer the world the way you always wanted to, and become the blessing to us all that you were meant to be.
Do you know I have a very similar painting in my living room and what I feel when I look at it is exactly what you wrote – plus the magic of light shining is always a plus!
This gave me goosebumps, Prajakta. Thank you for sharing this. Yes, that light, no matter how big, always enhances life or the situation we are going through. I am happy for you that you are having such an inspiring painting in your apartment. 💖
Erika, I put my comment here as I agree with Irene. We cannot kill our hopes, as that is all we may have. In a nonprofit I worked with, we used to tell our church outreachers not to proselytize to the homeless families. What they discovered is the families were as faithful or more than they were. Faith, hope is all they had. Keith
This is an amazing discovery time and time again. The less we possess the stronger our faith is and the more we value what really matters, the people and the simple basics of life. Thank you for adding this, Keith!
Erika, there is a study that noted people in poverty give a higher percentage of their income to those in need than people in upper income classes. The old quote comes to mind, “There, but by the grace of God, go I.” Keith
Yes, that is a “phenomenon” that the less you have the more generous you are. You experienced the meaning of real wealth, how little you actually need, and that it matters most that we take care of each other as we want to be helped when we are in need. It is the basic idea of give and take unconditionally! I am sure that humanity will be forced to get there again.
