Hits By Years – 1971

Today I am posting a song which I actually knew because of a cover version. Since I liked that song a lot I am happy that I can share the original now!

What’s Going On – Marvin Gaye

Feel free to add or mention in the comments your favorite song of 1970 and the memory that connects you with it.

The purpose of my blog is to inspire and shine a light on the beauty and power of the wonderful being inside your body. You came into this world to share what only you can give. Remember who you really are, conquer the world the way you always wanted to, and become the blessing to us all that you were meant to be.

OOOOO I love this sexy song!!! I remember going to discos and wishing hoping that some cutie would ask me to slow dance. That didn’t happen too often. I didn’t follow the trends and so wasn’t considered “cool” or one of the “hot girls”. LOVE this song!! Thank you, Erika! I adore the music I grew up with. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

The music we grew up with has such strong vibes, doesn’t it? It is amazing what it does to us and it always takes us on journeys to times which we now see even clearer how beautiful they were. I love when music does that!
So glad you liked my pick, Amy 😊
