Erika, believing in more than yourself can help you remove obstacles. I say this as in Charles DuHigg’s book called “Habit,” he notes data supports that participants in Alcoholics Anonymous who are devout have better success. Psychiatrists noted it may just believing in a greater purpose. It may be the additional support group. Or, it may be the power of belief or prayer. Keith

Our belief is so so powerful. Whether we are aware of it or not. What we are convinced of is what we see and we adjust everything else to it.
It may be a habit indeed. That’s why a belief can reflexively support or be destructive for us. I am sure that what you shared here has an enormous impact on the result of a therapy!
