#RomanticTuesday Song

Happy Romantic Tuesday, everybody! The weekend was gorgeous with temperatures around 20 °C (about 75 °F). It is almost spring and while scheduling this song I am thinking of romantic days on a lake or at the sea. Again, Italian songs start playing in my head. This one fits very well… when even it is more on the dramatic romantic side. Anyway, I remember that song well and it also represents the warm season which makes me already feel good.

Maledetta Primavera – Loretta Goggi

English translation:

Damn Springtime

Feeling like holding you and then
White wine, flowers and old songs
And we laughed at ourselves
What a swindle, damn springtime
What’s left of a dream of love
If it has turned into a poem when you wake up
If not having you in my hands
I don’t know what to do
Like there’s no love
If by mistake
I close my eyes and think of you
If, to make me fall in love again
You’ll come back, damn springtime
What a swindle if
It takes an hour to fall in love
Why did you hurry, damn springtime?
Why did you hurry since it hurts only me?
What’s left inside me?
Caresses that don’t touch the heart
There’s only one star
That can give me
The measure of love
If by mistake
I close my eyes and think of you
If, to make me fall in love again
You’ll come back, damn springtime
Who cares if
It takes an hour to fall in love
Why did you hurry, damn springtime?
Why did you hurry? Damn just like me…
