Just A Thought…

Bildergebnis für quote

When I think of what I want to achieve in my life and to whom I want to grow, then I ask myself what shall be written in my bio. There is only one thing actually. I want to look back and can say, I have become a happy person. What more could I reach? What could I ever miss as long as I am happy? When I am happy, I feel content and love will never leave me. Whatever comes and goes in my life can make me sad but never unhappy. When I can say, I am happy, then I have become all that I can become.

Have a happy weekend!

Haha, I am not a happy Buddha yet. But at least, I think I have created a happy carpet on which I walk and also rest when things get tough. I never lose the silver lining out of sight.

Happiness is not necessarily career success. It is not necessarily an affluent life-style. It is not necessarily being the envy of your friends. Happiness is not many, many, things … so what is it? That will depend on the person because happiness means different things to different people however, while finding the road to true happiness can be complicated, there some definite “signposts” which are so often ignored. If you ignore signposts, then the chance of going in the wrong direction is a real possibility!

I found the road to happiness much clearer after completing some exercises which I Posted in my Blog late last year. Part 1 of 5 (for the curious minds), is linked below:

Thank you, Colin.
Yes, I remember your posts very well and thank you for sharing the link.
Absolutely, there is not one way to reach happiness and then again it is – filling your life with meaning and knowing that you can give meaning to everything. How we fill our life is individual again.
Happiness in the end is not something we can become but something we are – a state of consciousness.
“There is no way to happiness – happiness is the way.” – Buddha
