Summer Dreaming

Winter has everything still strongly in its grip

Cloudy, cold, and dangerous to slip

I pause for a moment and close my eyes

Thinking back of warm days, hot sand, and blue skies

Imagination opens a file

In which I decide to stay for a while

I see myself standing above the deep sea

The wind in my hair and such wideness in front of me

I feel your embrace while we watch the sunset

Eternity caresses our souls for a bit

The colors seem to paint our world

Just you and I, the surrounding gets blurred

Two loving hearts caught in a magical dream

It’s framing our love, the most romantic scene

I take a deep sigh when I open my eyes

Take a look up to heaven and go on with my life

But deep inside me something’s heavily burning

A flame of desire and the thorn of a yearning

In Love and Light

I had a lovely afternnoon with the kids. They were all off and regardless of Valentine’s Day we had a lot of fun and I treasured the time with them a lot!
Big hugs 💖
