The Way You Look At Me

You’re always there for me

You always catch my fall

Defending and protecting

My body and my soul

You spoil me with your words

Your tender loving sound

In holding me so tight

When life’s spinning me ‘round

I always have your back

Your ears, your heart – your love

I know when I am sad

You’re there and that’s enough

Your patience is enormous

You’re steadfast in your heart

That’s what gives me the ground

Before I fall apart

But all about your love

Is held in your eyes’ sea

I hope you never change

The way you look at me

The purpose of my blog is to inspire and shine a light on the beauty and power of the wonderful being inside your body. You came into this world to share what only you can give. Remember who you really are, conquer the world the way you always wanted to, and become the blessing to us all that you were meant to be.

That’s the cool thing about blogging: The posts are still there no matter when we get to read them 😄 I always appreciate you stopping by no matter when.
I am so glad you liked the poem again. and enjoy your Wednesday too, Sue 💖

Beautifully romantic, yes, but the end also touches on a great fear of love: Of being unloved. It’s hard even in those ideal moments to not let a fear niggle its way onto the scene. That everlasting love is all we can hope for though!

It is a fragile thing, right? You may be right, it is a tribute to the big love the one shares in all he is which flows out of his look but yes, once you experienced this you never want to lose it again. Wonderful comment, Eli, thank you!!
