#RomanticTuesday Song

music-2087771_960_720

When I pondered about a song which fits my poem today I thought of the obvious first (you will know once you see the title of my poem). But there was another song on my mind immediately. I hope you like my choice. Happy RT!!

Put Your Head On My Shoulder – Paul Anka

Put your head on my shoulder
Hold me in your arms, baby
Squeeze me oh so tight
Show me that you love me too

Put your lips next to mine, dear
Won’t you kiss me once, baby
Just a kiss goodnight, maybe
You and I will fall in love
(You and I will fall in love)

People say that love’s a game
A game you just can’t win
If there’s a way
I’ll find it someday
And then this fool will rush in

Put your head on my shoulder
Whisper in my ear, baby
Words I want to hear
Tell me, tell me that you love me too
(Tell me that you love me too)

Put your head on my shoulder
Whisper in my ear, baby
Words I want to hear, baby
Put your head on my shoulder

A total classic! I loved to listen to this and to other oldies so very much and it was immediately in my mind when I thought of a fitting one to my poem… The Rose was too obvious and did not really convey the message the way I wanted!
