#Haiku – Pride

Yes, I’m watching you

While you’re eating fish for lunch

Nope, don’t care at all!

This cute buddy often comes by and just accompanies me when I sit outside with my laptop or when I am working in the garden. He doesn’t run off when I come closer and we often have a little talk. He simply seems to enjoy some company at times and then he leaves again.

It was a great summer day today and we had lunch outside. Maybe the aroma of grilled salmon attracted him too. For a while, he was sitting next to me. But he was never begging and at one point he laid down on the warm floor stretching him. All of a sudden he was gone and I discovered him again lying between the bushes and checking the scene from a place where he had a better overview. That’s when I had to get my phone for taking a picture!
