Friday Song

Lately, I thought that today I look completely different at work than I did back at the time when my apprenticeship started. Today I am proud and appreciative for my job,Β for the new things I learn, for the responsibility I take over, for the development I go through, for my growing self-esteem, and most for the knowing that it is all my achievement.Β

Now here is a song that leads me back to the summer of 1986 when the life started to get serious and weekends were even more treasured. Happy Friday!!

The purpose of my blog is to inspire and to shine a light on the beauty and power of the wonderful being inside your body. You came into this world in order to share what only you can give. Remember who you really are, conquer the world the way you always wanted, and become the blessing for all of us you were meant to be.

80s, Song of the Day

Oh, gosh, it was raining since Sunday almost without breaks. There is no rain since about 6 hours… and if the forecast is right, we are heading towards a heatwave starting tomorrow… yippie!!

Your reaction to your current job situation is interesting Erika, because I bet most of us (perhaps all of us) really appreciate being given some responsibility; some guidance and encouragement when needed; some overall respect and, of course, some appreciation of a job well done.
I don’t think anybody would dispute that these traits make for a happier and productive working life… and yet I wonder how many of us treat others in the same way. We may not employ (e.g.) the person on the store checkout, but we can certainly be courteous, respectful and appreciative. It could well make their day the best one in a long time! Perhaps our offspring need a little more support, understanding and appreciation.
We know how much these traits positively impact our lives, so now we just have to reverse the perspective and treat others accordingly. πŸ™‚

There are many who don’t want to work and rather hide. There are also many who have so little self-esteem that they don’t dare to take chances. But once you decide to go for it, look out for chances and at least try them… more will come your way and one by one you are lead higher on that stair. I believe that those who received such support and had someone at their side who believed in them, they know how precious such chances are. I am positive that most of them will do the same for others!! Thank you, Colin 😊
