Song of the Day

Song of the day

Hi, my friends! Today we are having a holiday and God knows I need it! My colleague is on sick leave for another 2 weeks. This makes 6 weeks altogether! I don’t complain because of working more. Oh, no! I really love my job. But when you rely on your days off you already have something planned for them. I also have my therapy practice and at the moment there isΒ a lot going on in my private life as well…. next to caring for my sons, the household, the garden,… So, I really enjoy this day for catching up on as many ends as possible. This song is exactly what I need to dance all the work away πŸ˜„

Obladi Oblada – The Beatles

Desmond has a barrow in the market place
Molly is the singer in a band
Desmond says to Molly “girl I like your face”
And Molly says this as she takes him by the hand

Ob-la-di ob-la-da life goes on bra
La-la how the life goes on
Ob-la-di ob-la-da life goes on bra
La-la how the life goes on

Desmond takes a trolley to the jeweller’s stores
Buys a twenty carat golden ring (Golden ring?)
Takes it back to Molly waiting at the door
And as he gives it to her she begins to sing (Sing)

Ob-la-di ob-la-da life goes on bra
La-la how the life goes on
Ob-la-di ob-la-da life goes on bra
La-la how the life goes on, yeah (No)

In a couple of years they have built
A home sweet home
With a couple of kids running in the yard
Of Desmond and Molly Jones
(Ah ha ha ha ha ha)

Happy ever after in the market place
Desmond lets the children lend a hand (Arm! Leg!)
Molly stays at home and does her pretty face
And in the evening she still sings it with the band

Yes, ob-la-di ob-la-da life goes on bra
La-la how the life goes on (Ha ha ha)
Hey, ob-la-di ob-la-da life goes on bra
La-la how the life goes on

In a couple of years they have built
A home sweet home
With a couple of kids running in the yard
Of Desmond and Molly Jones
(Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha)

Yeah, happy ever after in the market place
Molly lets the children lend a hand (Foot!)
Desmond stays at home and does his pretty face
And in the evening she’s a singer with the band

Yeah, ob-la-di ob-la-da life goes on bra
La-la how the life goes on
Yeah, ob-la-di ob-la-da life goes on bra
La-la how the life goes on

And if you want some fun
Take ob-la-di ob-la-da

(Thank you, uh, ha ha ha!)

I am sorry but I had to stop following blogs for many months since I am not getting to read all posts of the ones I am already following. I am very sorry. But if there is something specific you would like me to read please let me know and I will head over!!

Hi, I am on a complete break basically right now and I only reply to comments sporadically (you can read about it on my latest song post). But I just tried to read a bit about you. But there is no content in your about page and I found no option to comment or like.
