Thoughts about love…

Love is not about how often we say “I love you” but how deep we feel it when we say it.

It is not about the quantity and price of presents but what they symbolize and how much thoughtfulness lies inside of them holding the heart of the giver.Β

Love is not about how often we can see each other but how close we feel during the times apart. Β

Love is not about owning but about dedicating. Β

Love is not about expecting but about feeling a deep gratitude about what is.

Love is … it simply is… and it becomes deeper the more I look at you through myΒ heart.

I would have added one more about freedom, as I find it necessary to give and to get freedom to be, who we are, without any need to stay physical close all the time, even we don’t see the other so often. We do all need the freedom to think for ourselves without any judgment. This help to keep the love alive too.

That’s a wonderful add and I thank you that you mentioned it here in a beautiful way. Yes, love does not possess but has everything at the same time and love doesn’t judge but is thankful for what is. Thank you again for sharing these wonderful thoughts, Irene πŸ’–
