Song of the Day – Song Challenge Day 5

song-of-the-day

It is already day 5 of the Song Challenge. A big thank you to Lisa of Life of An El Paso Woman and Ritu of But I Smile Anyway, who nominated me for this challenge. I am glad both didn’t mind me combining it with my regular daily song posts.

Just in case you all thought I was really cheating on the rules, let me say I simply made it more efficient for me 😁

Here are the rules:
Post a song a day for five consecutive days.
Post what the lyrics mean to you.  (Optional)
Post the name of the song and video.
Nominate 1 or 2 bloggers each day of the challenge.

And here are the nominees of the past 5 challenge days:

Hugh
Hugh has started to post a song each week. And not any songs but real classics.

Chris
Chris posts a lot of music and also insightful information about artists born in 1951.

Syl
Next to his beautiful poetry and his daily inspiring series he has a weekly rock ballad series going for about two years and he always finds the coolest and most romantic songs and lots of classics.

Simon
Simon posts about a lot of different things. May it be some fun stories or about the outer space, he also posts music from time to time.

Colin
Colin’s blog is primarily about his dog Ray but from time to time he also posts some of his poetry, stories of his life, and also great songs.

To all the nominees: I would appreciate it a lot to see you participating but as always there is no obligation!

But now to the song: I hope for today I picked one which does justice to this final challenge day. Once again thank you to Lisa and Ritu for the nomination!

Hello – Martin Solveig & Dragonette

LOL… I tried to! I thought the way I accomplished it was a bit easier to handle. I am again nominated and this time there will come some special songs… I already have something in my mind for the next “season”… lol!

Hi Erika, thanks so much for nominating me for this challenge. This is the third time I’ve been tagged for this challenge. I’m afraid I decided a little while ago not to participate in these challenges anymore. Of course, I have my current music feature ’51 Weeks: 51 Songs from the past’ (which you mentioned) also currently running, so I’ll mention your nomination in tomorrow’s feature and invite anybody who wants to join in, to give it a go. I hope that’s OK?
Have a great week.

Hugh, that is absolutely ok and I completely understand as well! Therefore it means a lot to me that you want to mention it in your feature. Of course everybody is welcome to join in. Can there ever be too much music? 😄Thanks a lot!!
