Song of the Day

song-of-the-day

Good morning and happy Monday to all of you! The big snow is over and I am glad it hit the weekend and not a day when I had to drive all over the place. So I even enjoyed the gift from above and the landscape it left much more! It snowed again tonight and today I cannot stay at home. So I will try to enjoy the roller coaster ride… lol!

20170116_06563120170116_065849Oh…. and again: Still snowing… 😳

This all made me think of Snow Patrol… lol! But not only that, even the title of their most famous song is fitting well since there was bumper on bumper due to the weather! Too funny!

Chasing Cars – Snow Patrol

We’ll do it all
Everything
On our own

We don’t need
Anything
Or anyone

If I lay here
If I just lay here
Would you lie with me and just forget the world?

I don’t quite know
How to say
How I feel

Those three words
Are said too much
They’re not enough

If I lay here
If I just lay here
Would you lie with me and just forget the world?

Forget what we’re told
Before we get too old
Show me a garden that’s bursting into life

Let’s waste time
Chasing cars
Around our heads

I need your grace
To remind me
To find my own

If I lay here
If I just lay here
Would you lie with me and just forget the world?

Forget what we’re told
Before we get too old
Show me a garden that’s bursting into life

All that I am
All that I ever was
Is here in your perfect eyes, they’re all I can see

I don’t know where
Confused about how as well
Just know that these things will never change for us at all

If I lay here
If I just lay here
Would you lie with me and just forget the world?

I came to this a little late, Erika, but as we managed to escape the snow last weekend, it probably wouldn’t have made a lot of difference. Lovely pictures, but I prefer to admire from afar because, yes, I have to drive in it too – and where’s the fun in that? Hope all is good with you

I agree! It all looks pretty from inside or when the streets are “black” again. But it is a nerve-wracking thing to drive in those extreme conditions! As I said, it looks nice and I appreciate nature’s creations. But I would not miss it, to be honest!
