When we think this year already took too many great living legends it teaches us something different. I can’t believe the sad news. But when it is right what I heard then George Michael passed away peacefully in his sleep. Yesterday the song “Last Christmas” has gotten a completely new meaning.

Very sad! It was hard to believe. Yes, there was a lot he had to deal with but he did deal with it. We say that it was too early for him. But then again the time your purpose is fulfilled is not measured in years!

Such a sad loss and, as noted, just one of a number of celebrity passings this year. What is really starting to bother me just a little, is that most of them were younger than I. “Time and tide wait for no man” would seem very appropriate, and should be a message for all of us to take full advantage of our time here. Procrastination does nothing except potentially generate reasons for regrets later. Let us all make 2017 a very productive time, and may all your dreams for the New Year be realized. 🙂

Just yesterday I had a talk with my sister-in-law. She whined how terrible that she turns 50 … in two years… which means to her that she walks towards 60… OMG, “I am heading towards the end”. I said, that I am not willing to think that way and such thoughts only motivate me to take full advantage of the moment and the given day! I am totally with you, Colin! Not postponing anything. Let’s take action and go for our dreams or for whatever we feel as a spark of our purpose within us! We can never try to often only too little!

We should celebrate whatever age we are. The fact that we are alive to celebrate it, is one good reason. Another good reason is that “the race is not over until it is finished”! We should all make the best possible use that we can of every moment, because there will come that time when we do cross the “finish line” and our race will indeed be over.

This is exactly it! Every day is a gift and a given chance at any age! If we fall into desperation about things we cannot control we miss the chance to live and to enjoy this life – every given day!

I cannot believe he has died, so young too. 2016 has been a horrendous year for celebrity deaths, starting with David Bowie.
George Michael was such a talent, but he seemed to be a tortured soul. I hope he is in a better place xx

Yes, absolutely crazy this year. I thought the same. I hope there is no more surprise waiting until Dec. 31st! I am glad that it seems he passed away peacefully in his sleep. Shocking for us but for sure what we all would wish for, right? How wonderful that we had him.

I know exactly what you are talking about. I was 11 when Wham started and so I grew up with their songs and George Michael’s story. A complete shock for me too. So unexpected and what a day he picked it. That makes it all even more sad, doesn’t it? Let’s hug and cry together 😢😢
