Song of the Day

song-of-the-day

I planned to post this song already some days ago. But I had not thought how important the message might become regarding the recent happenings in Germany but I also think about the developments about the election of the next president in the US. Many are terrified that the worst days of human history could repeat!

Let’s never forget that we are all brothers and sisters! No matter what culture we are from, what color our skin has, what language we speak, whether we are rich or poor, or in what condition our health is. We are all God’s children and he wants us to be here or we wouldn’t be here! There is a place for everyone! Let’s clasp our hands and stand together. Not as one family, not as one country but as one world! Wouldn’t that be beautiful?

Wouldn’t That Be Beautiful – Patti LaBelle

Wouldn’t it be beautiful?
Wouldn’t it be beautiful?
Wouldn’t it be beautiful?
Wouldn’t it be beautiful?

If we can love each other
Realize we’re sisters and brothers
Take care of our babies
Teach them to respect one another

Wouldn’t it be beautiful?
Wouldn’t it be beautiful?
Wouldn’t it be beautiful?
Wouldn’t it be beautiful?

If the nations of the world could start a peace
We’ll have no more war
If the Christian, Muslim, Jew
Could learn to love each other too

Wouldn’t it be beautiful?
Wouldn’t it be beautiful?
Wouldn’t it be beautiful?
Wouldn’t it be beautiful?

Wouldn’t it be beautiful?
Wouldn’t it be beautiful?
Wouldn’t it be beautiful?
Wouldn’t it be beautiful?

Oh, if people stop bombing the planes
Stop hurting all these innocent people
The communist, Catholics too
Could learn to love each other too

Wouldn’t it be beautiful?
Wouldn’t it be beautiful?
Wouldn’t it be beautiful?
Wouldn’t it be beautiful?

Wouldn’t it be beautiful?
Wouldn’t it be beautiful?
Wouldn’t it be beautiful?
Wouldn’t it be, oh, beautiful?

Yes, I honestly believe this! As I commented at Deborah’s post, sometimes I think that people with bad intentions (and unfortunately often in important positions) are the ones who bring us in motion to stand up for each other!
