Song of the Day

Song of the day

I hope you all enjoyed the weekend. I had a fantastic one. The weather was gorgeous and my daughter celebrated her 21st birthday. That’s why I wasn’t a lot around yesterday. It wasΒ the first birthday since she moved out and it was very relaxing to only back one cake and enjoy the party somewhere else instead of being the host and organizer. Really cool!!!

But it’s Monday again and most of us are back at work. For some, it means more sitting (like for me) but for many their jobs have to do with a lot of walking. In order to give those of you a little push to get the week started, I send you this song along πŸ˜„. Have a happy day and a fantastic start into the new week!

I’m Walking – Fats Domino

I’m walkin’, yes indeed and I’m talkin’
About you and me, I’m hopin’
That you’ll come back to me, yeah-yeah
I’m lonely as I can be, I’m waitin’
For your company, I’m hopin’
That you’ll come back to me
What you gonna do when the well runs dry?
You gonna run away and hide
I’m gonna run right by your side
For you pretty baby I’ll even die
I’m walkin’, yes indeed and I’m talkin’
About you and me, I’m hopin’
That you’ll come back to me

I’m walkin’, yes indeed and I’m talkin’
About you and me, I’m hopin’
That you’ll come back to me, mm-mm
I’m lonely as I can be, I’m waitin’
For your company, I’m hopin’
That you’ll come back to me
What you gonna do when the well runs dry?
You’re gonna sit right down and cry
What you gonna do when I say bye-bye
All you gonna do is dry your eye
I’m walkin’, yes indeed and I’m talkin’
About you and me, I’m hopin’
That you’ll come back to me

In Love and Light
