Song of the Day

My colleague is on vacation from today on until next week Friday. That means I will be working full time until she is back. I will have a lot to catch up with when I get home at night. That’s why my visits will become limited. But I am there and I will show up as often as possible. My posts are scheduled and that way everything is at normal.

I need a little boost to start into that time now and I think I found the perfect song. Have a lovely Wednesday!

Balada Β – Gusttavo LimaΒ

(English Translation)
My car is washed-clean already, the [car] stereo system is set up just right
Everything is ready, come with me, [’cause] the sound here is first-rate
Girl, don’t be shy, jump in [the car] and celebrate
Just ring me later, I’ll love it, so let’s go…
Honey, ring me, there’s gonna be party tonight
I want to enjoy it with you [’till] late in the night
To dance and jump,
Until the sun comes out
Honey, ring me, there’s gonna be party tonight
I want to enjoy it with you [’till] late in the night
To dance and jump,
Because tonight there’s going to be
The “tche tchererere tche tcheche”
Tcherere tche tche,
Tcherere tche tche,
Tchereretche
Tche, tche, tche,
Gustavo Lima and you
If you look at me, I’ll want to touch you
And next, to make out with you, to have fun
Because tonight there’s going to be
Honey, ring me, there’s gonna be party tonight
I want to enjoy it with you [’till] late in the night
To dance and jump,
Until the sun comes out
Honey, ring me, there’s gonna be party tonight
I want to enjoy it with you [’till] late in the night
To dance and jump,
Because tonight there’s going to be
The “tche tchererere tche tcheche”
Tcherere tche tche,
Tcherere tche tche,
Tchereretche
Tche, tche, tche,
Gustavo Lima and you
In Love and Light

Ooh I like this song, Erika! It’s a very upbeat song! I’ve never heard it in my life! I’m picking up some of the words since Italian and Spanish are similar. Thanks for sharing it and try not to work too hard!

It is Portuguese which might be even closer to Spanish I guess. It is such a fantastic summer song. It was big 5 years ago and I still could freak out listening to it! Glad you liked it too, Lisa!!! Work was OK. It is not more, just longer. It is only that my blogging time is more limited. Other than that at least I make a bit more money… lol!

OHH Portuguese, a mix of Spanish and French I think? My bad! I picked up the Spanish. Both Italian and Portuguese are similar to Spanish. I got lost in Italy way back in 1999. They spoke limited English in this town called Assisi so…I spoke to them in Spanish and they understood me. Lol my tour group was about to leave me and this other girl behind! I would’ve just stayed there eating and drinking wine! How dumb I was freaking out when I could’ve just stayed there! πŸ˜€

That sounds like you had the time of your life! So perhaps a reason to come back again! You could do a tour through all those countries and taste the different languages… πŸ˜„

Yep, my private time is again a bit more limited. But I had a good day and I don’t mind it! Thank you so much, Carisa! Good vibes are always much appreciated πŸ˜ƒ
