#Romantic Tuesday

My Salvation

I am a girl with issues

I know that very well

But gone the times when I was called

To hide them like a spell

Now there’s someone who listens

When something bothers me

Who is not backing off or

Ignoring what I feel

When I get quiet you feel that

Something is really wrong

Then you are not annoyed or mad

But for both of us strong

You give me this important feeling

That I do have a voice

That what I feel does matter

And calm my inner noise

You look at me and take my hand

To show me, it’s ok

You let me know that you do care

That there is nothing I can’t say

You look over my issues

You see the girl I am

Who waited for a lifetime

To meet her selfless man

Your love, so unconditional

A healing balm to me

Which guides me safely through my maze

And makes my soul fly free

I found this special person

Who wants to understand

Who’s not afraid but helps me

My broken heart to mend

Whatever I knew about love

I learned completely new

You opened up my soul, my heart

I never loved like I love you

Love, Romantic Tuesday

I am taking a little break here today! It was magical and so much work. Hoping to go there for a couple days a week and weekend too, give mom and dad a little break and help. Wow being a grama is amazing Erika! xxx

It must be a completely new experience to be acting as a grandma…. in some way, I guess, it doesn’t feel so far away that you had such little cuties yourself! How quickly time passes!

I love this poem. It’s so good and I can fully relate. It is rare to find someone that cares so much to listen and not criticize and just be present with you, and makes you feel valuable and important.

Love, love love! ❤ ❤ ❤

You summed that up so perfectly and beautifully, Karen! Yes, I think what we all long for is someone who simply cares for who we are and who cares about ou well-being. Very rare to find. But once found you treasure it forever!
