I know, I know…. I may be the last one posting about the Bash. But I just arrived back home. Thank God I did not have a lot of stuff to put back (what an amazing thing to travel only with hand luggage). But next time I hope I can squeeze in one more day to enjoy London itself too. Although it was my 5th time in that beautiful city I would not have minded to stay a
bit lot longer!
The trip to London went absolutely smoothly. My hotel was very central – 2 minutes from Kings Cross and about 5 minutes from the venue. Saturday was so exciting. For the first time, I finally met my amazing blogily, my WordPress siblings which grew so close to my heart within no time. We planned to meet at 11.30 at Platform 9 3/4 at Kings Cross Station.
Judy and I signed our latest books for each other, Ritu spoiled us with Maltesers, and Judy wrote a lovely and touching poem for each one of us! Thank you both so very much, Sisters!
Then it was time to meet our brother, Rich, who surprised us with a lovely “Ladies” from behind us! YAY! The family was reunited!
Again we went for a drink in order to talk and talk and talk until it was time to meet our other friends at The Driver.
What a hello. At times, I thought I will spend the whole Bash hugging. The whole event was perfectly organized from the registration, over the food, the schedule, the way the awards were announced, and not to forget that fantastic lecture from Luca Sartoni who gave us valuable blogging tips and how to draw more readers to our blogs.
A big, big and even bigger congratulation to all the award winners! And another WooooopWooooop to my sisters Judy and Ritu who both made a second place in their categories!
Thank you to the organizing committee Sacha, Geoffle, Hugh, and Ali (in no particular order). You did an amazing job! Thank you in advance that you are organizing another Blogger Bash on June 10, 2017! Cross that day already in your calendar!
I cannot explain what it means to meet people in person who you already consider as friends. Everybody – without a single exception – appeared to me exactly as I felt about them through their posts and our interactions. I heard that too from others. We are an awesome community! I feel absolutely blessed that I am a part of it! Thank you!!!
