Erika, perception is reality, but that is good and bad, especially in the hands of a master manipulator. Mark Twain once said “It is easier to fool someone, than to convince them they have been fooled.” Keith

I agree completely! I believe that our perception is necessary to walk our path exactly the way we are supposed to. When we are ready for a different perception then we are ready for a different direction in your life. Our perception is teaching us life lessons since we experience the consequences. Great quote from Mark Twain and as always great comment, Keitht! Thank you!

There was a show during the 1980s called “Thirty Something.” They had one show where the two principal couples were having dinner at one couple’s house. One of the couples got into a fight. The show revealed four different perspectives of the same fight every fifteen minutes. It showed how perspective changes each person’s view of reality. As viewers, we never got an omnipresent view of the fight.

That is such a great idea! There is a book called The Fifth Agreement. The author also gives an example of different perspectives through letting the reader sit in an imaginary theatre watching the movie of their story. Then watching the movie of their story through their mother’s eyes , then through the siblings’s eyes, friends…. which of course always results in different movies.
