Song of the Day

Next Saturday I am singing at a wedding. I have to drive about 1 1/2 hours or a bit more to get there. It is a pictorial place called the Mainau Island, also called the flower island and it is located at the Lake Constance. It is a gorgeous place with plants turned into sculptures and flowers all over. Here are some impressions:

One of he songs I will sing in church is Christina Perri’s A Thousand Years. I recorded the song completely unprofessionally with phone and laptop. I actually posted it but as I got the feedback from many of you the record doesn’t work. Instead, I will post the original now. Sorry about that!

A Thousand Years  – Christina Perri

Now imagine this in church gently accompanied by an organ.

I don’t know what they planned for their wedding. But I could very well imagine they are making a video too… at least photos. I will post them…. if I am fine with them… lol! For now I just hope the weather is turning out better than it is predicted at the moment!

Haha! I know exactly what you mean about the photos! I hope the weather holds out for them. If not, rain on your wedding day is supposed to be a good omen, so win-win. 👍

Haha… you got me… lol! I won’t post a photo with my mouth wide open while singing or…. yawning… haha!
That is a lovely saying. However, it will be a special day for them for sure. Thank you, Kim 😊
