Song of the Day

Good morning and welcome in this new week! Hope you all had a great weekend and a beautiful Mother’s Day in case you celebrated. I spent a wonderful, wonderful long weekend first with my mom and sisters andΒ then on Sunday with my family.

I have to mention something because it touched my soul! My thoughtful soul sister, Ritu, surprised me with the most touching and heart-warming birthday post! Never had I expected it! Unfortunately a bit late (because of my absence I couldn’t check posts as I usually do) I discovered this sweet and moving birthday post of my El Paso sister, Lisa! Girls you both are so amazing and I am not only happy but most of all deeply gratefulΒ to have you in my life. You have no idea what you ladies and your actions mean to me!Β πŸ’–Β πŸ˜˜

Now back to the song. In my mind, I took along some cool songs which were played in the hotel. IΒ start with one of the early 80’s! Have a fantastic week!

Dolce Vita – Ryan Paris (so funny I did not realize how his name fits the videoΒ πŸ˜ƒ)

We’re walking like in the dolce vita
This time we got it right
We’re living like in the dolce vita
Gonna dream tonight
We’re dancing like in the dolce vita
With lights and music on
Our love is made in the dolce vita
Nobody else than you

It’s our last night
Together with our love again
Another light
Before we’ll drown in darkness
Say you’ll never leave me now
Say you’re gonna love me now

We made it down in the dolce vita
Wipe all your fears away
We lived it like in the dolce vita
A game of yesterday
I’m so alone in the dolce vita
Oh baby telephone
This magic’s gone in the dolce vita
Nobody else than you

It’s our last night
Together with our love again
Another light
Before we’ll drown in darkness
Say you’ll never leave me now
Say you’re gonna love me
(repeat)

In Love and Light

Aww thank you for the shout out, Erika! I’m glad you had a great weekend with loved ones! I’ve never heard this song but I like living the dolce vita (the sweet life, the good life, la vida loca too at times lol) πŸ˜‰

Yes, viva la vida…. think I have to repost that song too once… haha! It was amazing what you and Ritu did, Lisa! I am not lying, I was touched to tears! There were times in my life when I stopped believing such lovely and thoughtful acts would ever happen to me and that’s why I am so very grateful!

Aww! Well you deserve it because you’re always so kind! Your posts are always so inspiring and unlifting. Here’s an OLD one! LOL. I saw this guy at the mall one time. I saw him perform at the Sun Bowl here too. He was dancing on top of a car!

Yea you could! Yeah I saw him twice. He put on a good show. He was giving autographs at the mall and a ton of women were going crazy. We left because they were pushing and going nuts. Lol.

Oh yeah! He’s been around for at least 30 years, probably longer. He started his career with this Mexican band called Menudo. They had different band members every so often. It disbanded in the 90’s.
