Here we are again! After skipping two reviews I am really excited to be back again with the weekly review. I won’t go back all the three weeks and hope for your understanding. Only within this week happened so much to fill this post! Happy Friday!
Best of
The post with the most views of the past week (and even the past three weeks) is Thoughts About The Soul. I started that post with just pondering a bit over that subject but then I got more and more insights even I was amazed about… lol!
JR of Chronicles Of A Blogaholic did a wonderful post about the Beatles’ song In My Life. I thought it was not only very informative but also very poignant to read the story about that song.
Unfortunately, I don’t have so much time anymore but I love baking. Shamira of Smiling Notes posted a mouth-watering recipe for eggless Mango Muffins. Easily done and it sounds just yummy!
Sandra of A Momma’s View posted about letting babies cry in order to make them stopping by themselves because they don’t get any attention. This topping caught me because I know that there are many opinions out there. I never let my kids cry and when they were scared they always could sleep in my bed. I was criticized as Sandra was. We both think that it is nobody’s business to tell others how to deal with that. Check out her post #AtoZChallenge: L Is Love
Two of our friends were interviewed:
Judy of Edwina’s Episodes spoke about her newly first released poem book Rhymes of the Times on Annette Rochelle Aben’s blog talk radio. She told us how she came to poems what inspires her and what she is writing about. The whole talk was a lot of fun to listen to.
Cher of The Chicago Files spoke with Kirk Lapointe on Our City about her life as a Canadian in Chicago. She reveals why Chicago is called the windy city, about special food, and lots of other insider information. She lives at a wonderful place where she can watch daily the sunrise over Lake Michigan.
Thank You
Not only this week but also the past three weeks I received so many pingbacks and so many of my posts were reblogged. You are awesome and I cannot tell you how much your shares mean to me. Thank you from my heart for and a big hug to everyone who supported me in what I try to do here!
Awards
In order to honor my lovely friends who considered me for awards, I mention the ones two from all the past 3 weeks. Thank you to:
Stomperdad for the Monday’s Music And Words Award
newvideos31 for the Blogger Recognition Award
april4june6: A journal of self-tranformation for the Versatile Blogger Award
Dear Kitty. Some blog for the Liebster Award
Life Of An El Paso Woman for the Room 101 Award – this award was a challenge and it caused me to turn the rules 180°. The discussion about it was amazing. This award turned out as the inspiration for my next Monday post.
New Blogs I Follow
I know I said, I cannot follow any new blogs for a while but I have to make an exception with the lovely and so humorous Ellen of EllenBest24
Just a thought

Don’t get stuck at the place you actually want to leave. In order to stop looking where you came from you need to turn around to see where the not yet traveled road leads to! There are too many wonderful things waiting to be experienced. The best is always yet to come! But we need to welcome it.

It is amazing that you have the time for reading posts, Vonita! You have me sitting with dropped char. How are you doing this? I appreciate it a lot that you took the time! Thank you!

We have free wifi in the hotel room Erika, and it’s bedtime for kids, so I have my bedtime reading then 😀

That’s how I do it. But my mini laptop is sooooo slow! That it takes me ages only to work myself through the comments of my already scheduled posts. Annoying!

I do it all on my iPhone, Erika!

You are amazing! That is the worst for me. I mean I do it in between but I never posted over my phone. My clumsey fingers would drive me completely nuts!

There’s a bug on the WordPress iPhone site anyway, sometimes I post and the blog post is blank, then I have to keep on redoing it, in the beginning I lost a few of my entries and had to retype it, now I copy the text and paste it if the text doesn’t show. So annoying! All the iPhone typing is not good for finger joints, especially thumbs sometimes my right thumb starts to hurt. Arthritis-forming I guess. I am fast to type though I know where all the keys are so can touch-type on the screen fairly quickly.

Wow, you sound very trained indeed, Vonita! Great! But that bug would drive me nuts… really. I would become so mad that it could likely happen that I through away my phone…. no patience in such things…lol!

Thank you so much for mentioning my post. I love the way you do your weekly reviews. And I love your thought of the day! Thanks Erika, have a wonderful weekend. I’m listening to Nena right now, feeling a bit nostalgic 😉

I am glad you enjoyed it and of course I had to mention your post! Nena, cool! I hope something else but 99 Luftballons… that is the only song I really cannot hear anymore… lol!
