I don’t participate in Throwback Thursday. But it just made sense to me to share a post from last year. We still don’t have any snow but I would love to share our Christmas lights with you. Last year we did not have snow until December 26th. But then it started snowing and did not stop for days. See here:
I am so happy it did work out before we removed the lights.
Here we go as I promised in case of snow.

In Love and snowy Light!
So glad you posted this again. It is so lovely!

Do you remember it? It is amazing how long we are following each other. I am so thankful, Linda! 💖

I have been to England 4 years ago in Dezember (only for one day to pick up my daughter). When I arrived it poured and poured…. that’s why I completely understand you!

Very pretty and tasteful! Out here we have a lot of set designers and people who work in the film industry so we get a lot of outrageous decorations. As for us, just a few lights strung around the apartment and some homemade decorations care of my daughter.

It must be amazing around your place. I can only imagine that! Ours grew over the years. First we only had a string of lights on the balcony of our apartment. When we came back from the States we brought reindeer and sleigh along. And from that point on we expanded… lol

It’s very pretty. We had one ‘that my daughter made last year and then made a multi media Santa picture which is in our window this year. I’m rather proud of it. The lights we keep up year round. They are multi colored and very pretty, not really just for Christmas.

I think it is very cool that you are doing it since you are actually Jewish.

Well, I wasn’t really raised with any religion and my husband’s Catholic. It’s hard to be a kid and not celebrate Christmas. I think that’s why a lot of Jewish people do.

I understand that. I am Catholic too…. at least I was… lol….. but I love the Buddhism in may ways and feel much closer there. So have Buddhas and Taras around in my house too! So what?

Sometimes I feel like the barriers of religion need to broken.

I hear you, Marissa! In the end all religions have the same goal. They only have different rules to get there. But many religions have something I can take and something I can’t. We are all indivicuals with indivicuals paths and that means we don’t fit in only one category of believing!
