Liechtenstein – Austria

Today we are having a beautiful, beautiful Summer Sunday. It is hot and there are no clouds around. I slept long today and had a nice breakfast. After that I drove to my uncle who lives right across the Austrian border for picking up something. That is only a 15 minutes drive. On the way back I couldn’t resist to take some pictures.

Here you see one of the Austrian/Liechtenstein borders. It is a small one and the closest one for us to cross. I took the picture from the Liechtenstein side towards Austria.20150830_114040

Storks again. They are already used to cars and people passing by. They don’t care. (sorry, the quality of the pic is not good.)30082001

Yes Erika looks really familiar when I saw your photo my mind went back to my time travelling to the beautiful Austria I had beautiful time there in Wien then went to Salzburg and Innsbruk I came twice from Italy. I don’t really remember which way but your photo looks very familiar the first time I was in a Tour Bus for a great 1 week field trip with my Art School I was 17 we visited Wien and all around there all the Art museums 😉 The second time was years later and I came Via Train with the superfast Train then is where we went around a lots I spent almost 3 weeks in Austria it was lovely and Snowy 🙂

You visited my hometown. Wonderful! Yes, Tirol (the area around Innsbruck) looks preety much like our region. I am so glad you enjoyed your trip to Austria and even stayed so long. A lot to see indeed 🙂

Yes was beautiful I also remember that I went in a beautiful historical Cafe in Wien it was old fashion very beautiful! I also enjoyed the yummy Sacher Torte love it! 😉 I am glad I visited your country twice…
