Is this possible? Award 7 and 8 dropped in this week!

Did I mention what a wonderful, amazing, talented, lovely person Kritika of From the Heart To The Nib Of The Pen is? If not: Kritika is such a lovely, wonderful, amazing, and talented person and blogger. Within a short time she has become a dear friend who never want to miss anymore.

It means even more to me to be nominated by such a spirit for an award. She gifted me with the Creative Blogger Award (the second time this week). Thank you so much!!!

Here are the Rules:

* Display the Creative Blogger Award logo on your blog
* Nominate 15-20 blogs and notify all nominees via their social media/blogs
* Thank and post the link of the blog that nominated you (very important)
* Share 5 random facts about yourself to your readers
* Pass these rules on to them

Let’s start with th 5 facts about me. I am full of opposites:

  1. I can do sharp and loud whistles with two fingers, but I cannot whistle a melody. I don’t recommend you being in front of me when I try… I better don’t post a photo here…
  2. I am afraid of heights and would never go on a roller coaster ride, but I stood at the edge of the Grand Canyon without any fear but a feeling of bliss in my heart. And I did the Jurassic Ride twice at the Universal Studios. (Just had to prove it to myself).IMG_3357IMG_0442
  3. I don’t like spiders but I faced my phobia and held a tarantula in hands. I would do that any time again.IMG_9003
  4. I don’t like winter with its dark nights and cold air. But I love to watch it snowing when I am inside the house or at a Christmas market sipping a punch.20141229_171528_resized
  5. I don’t like huge amount of water (often having panic dreams of tsunamis) and I am not a water-rat. But I love sitting and gazing at the ocean for hours. That charges my batteries like nothing else.IMG_9669

Thank you so much Erika! I can’t wait to do up a post to accept all the awards you have nominated me for 🙂
I love this post! Your pictures are great. I also have panic dreams about tsunamis. I am SOOO phobic of spiders. I panic even if I see a picture, but I have to say, that tarantula is strangely cute 😀
The picture of you in front of the ride is brilliant haha!
Thanks so much again, you really are brilliant 🙂

Hehe… thank you! Yes, isn’t that weird? I also thought the tarantula was cute… haha. I event thanked that little creature for helping me facing that fear. They are so light. You almost don’t feel them. My daughter was traumatized after doing it. I don’t know why she did it. She wasn’t ready at all.
Looking forward to you award show, Janey 😀

Maybe someday I will try and face my fear. I was able to look through a screen at one in a pet shop and even then, I was very anxious. I have such admiration for the fact that you were able to hold one! Well done 🙂
I have been away at a family wedding so I have been trying to find the time to post. I want to do it justice 🙂 thank you for being so generous to me and I hope you are enjoying the summer 🙂

It definitely took me a while until I was ready. Couldn’t even watch them on a picture. Still don’t need that … haha. But that was really special! Take your time and enjoy the wedding, Janey!

Thank you, Himali! I have to admit that I was surprised myself that I felt no fear standing at the edge of that cliff. It was pure gratitude, happiness, and astonishement. Back home I had trouble to look down from a clock tower… haha. And you are right, I was truly happy and excited at those moments! Thank you for taking the time for reading and commenting, Himali 💖

The happiness truly reflects in your pics.. I guess it’s some sort of nature’s charisma over us which made you forget all the fear.. Keep smiling and keep writing 🙂

I never thought about it, but I too love staring at the ocean for hours, but have nightmares about tidal waves…Interesting. I understand the tidal wave image has to do with feeling overwhelmed. It shows up in my life at times. Congrats on all the awards…you rock !! ☺

Multi-Congrats! Dear Erika, you are worth it! Good to see your courage, it inspires me (Doesn’t mean you can put a tarantula in my bed when I’m sleeping ! *Lol*) !
Thanks for not nominating me. Yes you heard it right, cause i’m in the middle of proving the two challenges who’s faces are like Tweedledee-and-tweedledum! ha ha..

Oh, you are welcome! I even limited the number of nominees against the rules. But since I am so flooded with awards I have to find a way to not always nominate the same persons but still doing it according to the meaning of the award. Looking forward to your challenges, Robin.
