AWARDS

About 2 1/2 months ago I stated that I won’t participate in awards anymore due to two reasons:

  • I did not feel well to be honored for something I don’t do anything special about it. I am even feeling grateful that I may share my thoughts with you. My reward is the love I get in return.
  • It also was due to a lack of time.

But I changed my mind. When I had my interview yesterday, Kimberly quoted one of my favorite sayings by Wayne Dyer: When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change. I look towards awards differently now. I see them as a chance to support others. After only 10 months I met the most amazing people all over the globe. I have experienced support and appreciation every day. In February I got informed that I broke my record on likes several times. Yesterday was a new record day. I never expected to find that here. I experience inspiration and the gift of love in a whole new dimension. Today my 662nd follower joined me and the number is constantly growing. That’s amazing! Therefore in passing on an award I am able to indicate my wonderful blogger friends to a wider audience. I received so much appreciation and I want to give something back. I will always find time for that. That’s one way I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart!

In Love and Light!

This is so sweet, Colleen. I just started to feel so selfish that is all. I think right within the past 10 weeks I grew really deep into the community. It is amazing but it is like home. I guess that changed a lot of my attitude as well. I am so grateful that I am here. You are all so wonderful people with so many different facetes. And you are a gem of its own 💖

I love this and thinking about things in a new way is a one of the wonderful things about you! I don’t accept award because just people’s presence is enough for me. I think a new way to look at it would be just what you are doing so I love this! So I’m looking at it the way you are looking at it which is a new way! LOL That was fun! What are we looking at next with our new eyes? Ha 😀 ❤

This is so amazing how we inspire each other. You gave me so much deep insights only in sharing your way of thinking and so do I. It is breathtaking to see what I always say (also in the interview): Life is a constant interaction between all of us, a constant giving and receiving. I love this life with everything in it.

Oh me too I love it! I know what you mean I never know what I’m going to say. I have an idea or guidelines. I tend to digress and get off on rabbit trails easily! Chasing rabbits with my stories! 😀

Erika I have thought the same things. Another thing about accepting awards is that I could never limit nominating others to just a few. There are simply too many that I enjoy, and count as blessings. I would not want someone I follow, to be disappointed that they are not on the list. I am also rethinking my views about them though. Maybe you’re right about supporting others.

This is absolutely right, Nicodemas. Not being able to nominate all I appreciate is really a pain in the neck. But I will do my best to get many awards in order to go throuhg my whole community… or I’ll simply break the rules and nominate more… lol

Thank you! It is really unbelievable. This year I almost have the same number of views than the whole year before. That’s unbelievable. Therefore I thought again about the award matter. I’d love to participate and like to appreciate the honor of others.

I am so very proud of you my sweet and cherished friend. There is not a day that goes by that you are not thought of. This is one of those rare occasions that my mind and body are working together to allow me time this day to read and I am so thankful I came to this small corner of your world. I send you much love and am forever honoured and grateful to call you my friend. Much love and light always shine brightly on you and through you. ~Matthew

Matthew, I have no words that you spend your energy for writing on my blog. To read something from you fills me with the biggest gratitude. Thank you so much. Belinda always lets us know how close you still feel to all of us. And I am so happy that we have her to stay in contact with you. There will be a time when you are back on the blog. That day will be a big celebration on WordPress. Your comment touched me so deeply. My most heartfelt thank you. I am looking forward to having you back soon! We are all with you in our thoughts – every day!!! 💐

It is I that thanks you my friend. And what better way to spend a little energy than that with a friend. Good days are rare for me in terms of low pain, but still I think every day is a beautiful day.
